Take the Oilers. I’m sure twin cities could support two teams.

Im sure you are upset that your team was eliminated but check your facts. Brandon Tanev plays for Penguins. It was Chris Tanev who scored the winner |

Does Minnesota hold Penguins' lottery pick with the Zucker trade? - stay@home-guy
Since the Pens technically didn't make the playoffs, they have the option of keeping this years and giving the Wild their 2021's first round pick.
2020 conditional 1st round pick* (PIT)
*Conditions: If Pittsburgh's pick falls between 1-15, Pittsburgh has 7 days to decide if they keep their pick in 2020 or transfer it to 2021. |

I don't think it's any surprise, bottom line is Wild were given a gift and did with it exactly what most of us figured they'd do... Yes, its unfortunate to get bounced by a one line team, but neither team really has any business beyond this gift round anyway....
Evason essentially waved the white flag by sending out the fourth line in OT which was the primary reason the OT period ended in 11 seconds...
Not sure Billy G was a big fan of that strategy... Ol', Deano (Creed) Evason may have just shortened up his newly acquired "long term" tenure as head Skipper... |

Nice blog Dan, you nailed it with some very good observations. The bottom line is the Wild would not have beat anyone in the next round and the shot at #1 is probably the biggest win. Kaprizov should add a lot to the offence as Fiala is pretty much the only real weapon. Good luck in the lottery. |

Good luck with the lotto. I wouldn’t mind your team winning it, you guys need help if you’re ever to become relevant.
And the Canucks had no chance to make the playoffs all year, and no chance to win a play-in... so I’ll take those no chances against the Blues or Stars |
